I guess you could call this Part II of the wedding weekend and fortunately an uneventful day since we were pretty tired from partying last night.

Surprisingly, Ben and I woke up without a trace of a hangover. I give credit to the fantastic beds since I slept pretty well after the reception.

After we took turns taking a shower, we got our shit together and went down to the lobby for a much needed cup of coffee at the Starbucks.

Drazen and Jess met up with us a little later to go out for brunch at a place called “Old Ebbitt Grill”. I’ve personally never been there before but I’ve heard good things about it.


Located very close to the White House.


The restaurant was packed with people but surprisingly we were able to get a table without waiting near the back.

The menu choices looked good and everything sounded delicious: Menu


Ben’s Corned Beef Hash with crispy has cake, two sunny side up eggs, home fries and bordelaise


My house granola that consist of Greek yogurt, blackberries, peaches and honey.


Drazen’s Egg Benedict with Canadian bacon, English muffin, poached eggs, potatoes, and hollandaise.


Jess’ Pumpkin French Toast with honey pecan butter, apple compote, Vermont maple syrup and sausage.

Unsurprisingly, most of us suffered a mix of food and booze coma, so we headed back home to end the weekend on a good note.
