The pictures you’re about to see here are pictures you won’t see in their “official” wedding album as I was trying to capture the most natural moments.
BTS (Behind the Scenes).
Note: WordPress “downsamples” all images that I upload onto the blog so if you want high resolution versions of the photos, go to my Flickr page.
Ben, Drazen and I carpooled into city and checked into the JW Marriott and met up with some people from the wedding party.

The hotel rooms were small and cozy, but I was most impressed with their beds. It was unbelievably comfortable.

After we dropped off our luggage and got settled, we had to get to the chapel earlier than most people since Drazen was part of the wedding party. It was about a 20 minute walk to Saint Matthew’s, but it was a great chance to nab some street photography.
Ben got stuck with handing out the wedding programs but I had free reign.

This was the 19th wedding I’ve attended (I forget how many of them were catholic) and I’ve completely forgotten that they run on the long side.
After the rings and vows were exchanged, it was time to party…but until then, more pictures.

We ran into Josh, one of Drazen’s friends and he was nice enough to give us a ride back to our hotel to start our pre-gaming session in the hotel bar.

The hotel bar was this small lounge located a floor below the main lobby called, “1331”.
After two rounds of drinks (2 rounds of Dogfish Head 90 Minute for me), it was time to walk over to the National Press Building for the reception.
The National Press Center building leases their floors for events such as weddings, and the ballroom can hold over 225 people.
Going forward, it’ll be a marathon of pictures so enjoy.

We had a great time and it was great to see the guys again since the bachelor’s party.
Thanks everyone.
***I wish I could take better pictures but I only brought one lens with me and no flash.***
